Fantasy Football Players Angry At Last Minute Fee Addition
from the free-depending-on-the-time- dept
Just as the football season is starting, one online site that offered "free" fantasy football leagues has instituted a last minute fee, that is angering many team owners. When they signed up (and, in fact, still) they were promised that the site would host their leagues for free. But, now "free" only means free during "non-peak" hours. While this is better than instituting a full fee, it is a bit questionable to wait until right before the season starts to put it in place. I wonder if they can be charged with "bait and switch", since they promised one thing and ended up delivering another.
