BarnesandNoble.com: Insecure About Security
from the if-we-ignore-it,-maybe-they'll-go-away dept
People have been discovering all sorts of security and privacy holes in the barnesandnoble.com website recently. They've done everything possible to tell the company about them, and in response... nothing. Barnesandnoble.com seems to be ignoring the various security holes people point out to them for the time being. They refused to comment, but a source said that the company was hoping to address those issues when they launched their new site... in December! They never even responded to the people who pointed out the security holes - even to the one guy who offered to fix them for free.
