Broadcasters Using Virtual Sets
from the reality-is-highly-overrated dept
A NY Times article about the growing popularity of entirely virtual TV news broadcast studios. Instead of redoing the news studios, many news programs are electing to go with "virtual studios" that look very big and very impressive, but are really just a tiny room with blue walls. I think if I worked on such a show it would be kind of depressing to know that the great set I worked on didn't actually exist.
