Sotheby's Teams With eBay

It was just a few years ago that Sotheby’s teamed up with Amazon.com to try to take on eBay. That partnership ended in disaster a while back, so I guess this is a case of “if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em” as Sotheby’s has teamed up with eBay to bring more expensive items to eBay, and more people to Sotheby’s. I wonder if this relationship will work any better than the Amazon one.
