It seems that suddenly the government is a big fan of peer-to-peer computing. They're even talking about it at O'Reilly's P2P conference. Okay, so maybe they're not just looking to share the latest Britney Spears tracks between Senators, but they do see plenty of potential uses for communications networks. So, if Napster, Music City, and others want to survive, they just need to build in extra capabilities for military-grade communications systems, and then the entertainment industry will never be able to shut them down.
