Amazon Suing To Prevent Employee Defection

Amazon.com is suing to prevent a former exec from taking a job at eBay. Amazon.com claims that this exec, Christopher Zyda, who was Amazon.com's International treasurer and CFO has unique knowledge of Amazon's finances and plans that would be harmful if known to eBay (you mean he might actually tell them that Amazon isn't profitable?). eBay, of course, would love to get their hands on Zyda, making for quite the court battle. For now, Zyda has been prevented from starting work at least until after a hearing next week.
