No More New Economy Companies Buying Old Economy Companies

A look back at how AOL was lucky to pull off their deal to buy Time Warner when they did. If they had waited, it might be Time Warner buying AOL. The same might be true of “new economy” telecom provider Qwest, who came along and bought Baby Bell US West. AOL definitley had great timing with their move.
