Another Online Business Scam
from the the-gullible-keep-on-coming dept
Here's another amazing story of an internet scam. This one involves a basic ponzi scheme with lots and lots of gullible investors, but then it gets weirder. It involves a plea bargain with $9 million paid back from a bank that didn't even exist (good going on the federal investigators parts for checking that one out ahead of time), someone who claims to be in touch with space aliens and the best part: gullible suckers who had money stolen from them who still believe in the scam even though the guy who put it all together is in jail and all of the money has disappeared.
