Amazon Possibly In Deal With Borders

Amazon appears to be somewhat serious about their new “we’ll make money by running everyone else’s unprofitable e-commerce site” epiphany/strategy. While people say talks are still ongoing between Amazon and folks from Wal-Mart and Best Buy, people are expecting a deal between Amazon and Borders to be announced Wednesday morning. Both companies have said they’ll make an announcement, and Borders officials are staying at a hotel where the Amazon announcement is going to take place. It’s not too difficult to figure that one out. Of course, some analysts are complaining that it’s not Barnes & Noble, so it’s not that good. Some people are just never satisfied.
