The Crash Was A Good Thing
from the say-it-over-and-over-and-over-again dept
An amusing article that points out in the twilight zone of Silicon Valley the mantra of the year from everyone is that "the crash was a good thing". The article points out previous Silicon Valley mantras ("the internet changes everything" and "we're not in this for the money") weren't quite as universally accepted. However, no matter who you talk to in the Valley, everyone agrees that the crash was a good thing. It sent the tourists home. It made people more serious. It flushed out the bad ideas. Etc. etc. etc.
