MP3 Finally Finds Retailer To Accept Streaming Muzak
from the new-business-models dept
Six months ago MP3.com announced that their new business model would involve sending streaming MP3s to stores to play while people shopped. It seemed odd at the time, and I wondered why we never heard any more about it. It seems that they were just taking all this time to find someone who would agree to be a customer. Now they have. Petco will be streaming Muzak from MP3.com into all their stores. How long until someone figures out a reason to sue them for doing so?
