Petsmart.com Buys Pets.com Domain

from the bring-me-traffic-now dept

Having trouble remembering which of the many online pet stores was which? Well, have no fear, as it seems that all the different domains will soon be pointed at Petsmart.com. They've bought Pets.com's domain, as well as a few other domains. How long until Petopia gives in and passes on its domain? Details of the transaction were not released, but somehow I get the feeling that the domain didn't command the astronomical prices that such domain names were attracting a year ago.
