Teens And The Stock Market

from the day-trading-all-the-time dept

Apparently more and more teenagers are experimenting with the stock market. While it can be a good lesson, there are some problems with it. Not everyone agrees that it’s the most healthy thing for a teenager to be doing. Personally, I don’t see a problem with it, as long as anyone who’s doing it really understands that there’s potential for them to lose their money. There’s also some fear that kids will become too focused on investing at the cost of other activities. While this makes some sense, I think the risk is pretty much the same as for adults becoming too focused on investing. Yes, perhaps teenagers have less experiences, but they’re not so narrowminded as we adults seem to think they are.
