Selling Your Presidential Vote to the Highest Bidder on eBay
from the politics-in-action dept
While the auction has been pulled, Salon reports on an individual who tried to sell their vote to the highest bidder on eBay. The claim is that, as a citizen, they can do whatevery they wanted with their vote, and they chose to sell it to the highest bidder. It makes sense to me. Who says we've become jaded towards politics in this society? Update: It gets worse. There's now an article in Wired about a new company called voterauction which is set up just to auction off presidential votes.
