Email, Politics, and Journalists
from the the-new-world dept
A great article in the NY Times about how email is changing how political campaigns talk to journalists. Apparently both the Bush and Gore campaigns bombard journalists with all sorts of random information trying to get stories written (from the sound of the examples in the article, many of the emails concern negative press for the opposing candidate). If anything, the whole thing seems a bit childish, but we are talking about American politics, so I guess that should be no surprise.
