   As much as I want to startup a company, and I believe I could...fear of failure comes in, not making ANY money comes into play. "Be your own boss", well that is nice...but then again, your boss runs on a paycheck...and he gets paid...and he does not have to pay your salary out of his pocket.....very different when you become "The dude in the chair".

   Awwww, so someone is depressed that their lame-brained startup didn't make them richer than a lottery winner. So now they're gonna have to take a job at a regular company and pull down a regular (and usually large) salary. Somehow I can't find much sympathy. These people don't have any idea what real economic hardship is. When we do have a *big* downturn (and it *will* happen, it's just that noone can say when), I don't think SellPencilsOnTheStreet.com is going to help.

   Heh, well, I do understand some of where you're coming from, I don't think it necessarily deserves that level of scorn. Starting up a company (whether or not it's a good idea) is an emotionally trying experience. Yes, I'll admit that many people are jumping into starting up companies too early without actually thinking through their idea. But, it does take a lot of guts to take a risk like that. As I said, I don't really think a site like "startup failures" makes much sense, but I do understand why the guy started it.
