Fentanyl is actually used for pain relief in EMS trauma response. It is in many paramedic protocols. And yes, fentanyl lollipops are a real thing, though not generally available for civilian use in the States. As an EMT ski patroller, it would be nice to have these available for injured patients when we have to take them down the mountain in a toboggan, but so far, they aren't available, or for that matter, would not be in our protocol even if they were.
This is too little and too late. if they publicly fired their law firm and paid all of their victims at least twice the monetary losses caused by Backcountry.com's bullying tactics, they just might convince me that they really understood that their behavior was reprehensible.

Just after posting this I read that they did fire their law firm today. A start, at least.
