Ah, I see the complaint there. When I came on the article, it had already been struck through and changed to Windows.
And some people still have a preferred version between the two. Thus, preferred version is still correct.
What do you think is the basic fundamental of human decency? Empathy.
It is possible, just barely, that the C.O. is actually attempting to provide Aereo some assistance here. Possibly, if this gets before the SC again, they can point to this "ruling" as evidence that no, they're not a cable company?
Grasping at straws here...
This has been addressed by T-Mobile already. As of November 2013, they had a program in place:

I found that link via the following article:

OMG, don't say that. Hollywood is already remaking everything else, don't let them think that rebooting THIS would be a good idea.
I would almost agree that the problem is at the top of the chain, but there are a bunch of corrupt links in the middle as well
Of course there is. Where do you think that the new "top of the chain" comes from? It doesn't form from a vacuum. People with the "right" character flaws get drawn to the top.
The problem would be lessened with more effective oversight, however.
Lets just hope they're different objects...or are presented in the other order.
In my experience, UPS tracking is also a joke. I ordered new phones from my cell provider on Tuesday. Tuesday night, they were listed as having been scanned for arrival at 6:11pm Eastern.
The next updates were this morning, sometime between 11:30p when I went to bed, and 6:00 am when I got up. Sometime in that time frame, the package had shipped from Lexington, KY, to Wyoming, MI, where it was scanned for departure at 1:10 am, then arrived in Flint, MI at 3:10am.
That's a 30+ hour block of time where there were no updates, yet apparently it placed on a truck, shipped to Michigan, unloaded then put on another truck.
FedEX isn't any better.
However, that doesn't apply to the Michigan school situation.
I think it's more likely "phone bill" rather than "meta-data".
Lancelot, Galahad, and I will jump out of the rabbit...
A few years indeed. I remember seeing books available in the Usenet newsgroups in the late 90's...
I know, right? Instead of just letting people sink, they're actually going out of there way and saying "hey, this will eventually not work."
Not an author, but I am friends/acquaintances with several. The price of an e-book is very rarely left up to the author. Most of the time it is decided by the publisher. Hence, the stupidity with most prices.
Its possible that Wal-Mart refused to provide the information, or didn't do it in a timely enough manner for the study.

Yes, that specific line wasn't coming to me, but I have had the same general feeling about President Trump's presidency as we were given for "President Clarke"
