    Last I heard T3 connections weren't cheap ..... and though 1 is just a drop in the bucket for Google, I imagine they use many more than just 1 ...... per data center.

    And for the love of Pete $65US is not very cheap for 4 meg down / 512k up

    You're serious? national institute of STATISTICS and technology. Yeah, I'm sure that they can help at least with 68.5% of the questions .... No, the board states that 4 seats are required to be filled with computer scientists or voting technology experts, these members are not present on the board. Therefor the board is not following its own rules ... Statistics, just a polite word for lie.

    The problem here is that one of the reasons for the strike is to get the studios to pay the writers for the "reality" shows union scale. As for over-valued artists, Do you mean that someone that puts 100 hours into a painting and over $200 dollars of materials should get paid less than $2000 dollars? ($18 per hour plus expenses) Or do you mean that a musician that practices 1000s of hours for no pay should get what minimum wage? I suppose you think that the middle managment at Fox news is contributing greatly to society and they deserve $100,000 per year ....

    So, you would rather be stuffed in a little rat-box car stuck in traffic for 2-3 hours each way .... I live IN Atlanta and watch many, MANY commuters stuck in jams both ways 5 days a week. Of course houseing costs in the city are much higher than in the 'burbs and to get to truly rural living you might end up driving 3.5 to 4 hours each way. So, what is the cost worth? 8 hours of work plus 8 hours of drive time = very little time to have a life of your own. Of course, you might live where there isn't much traffic and your commute is less than an hour each way ....

    Where? Where would you like this tree planted? In the great plains? In Alabama perhaps? Its the loss of the rain forest that is causing the most harm. Buy some land in the Amazon and protect it from being cut down. Now that will help. Planting a tree in Kansas or Oregan won't do a bit of good. Protecting the ones that are standing might.
