  • If Your Brother Was Arrested For A Crime, Does It Violate Your Privacy When They Store His DNA?

who said it was fake? I don't need to hide anything. If dna databases can help officials track down a suspect quicker, by then all means go for it. If there is enough dna evidence at a crime scene to point fingers at some one then that person knows something about the crime or the person responsible.

    This is a good Thing

Well I guess if my brother is a felon maybe I shouldn't commit any crimes, what an awful violation of my rights. As a productive member of society, I find this concept useful since it will help narrow down a search for someone who has committed a crime. Isn't that the funny part about 75% of all privacy issues only really affect people who are worried about getting caught doing something that is probably illegal.

  • How Does Offering Free Content Insult Those Who Pay?

    Cost of Cable

The part nobody mentions is that the majority of people get their internet from a cable company (Comcast, Charter, Verizon FiOS, etc.). What do you think will happen when internet bandwidth skyrockets and everyone cancels their cable subscriptions? Also, why would ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, and so on offer content for free online if they can't sell commercial time during television broadcasts? First of all, internet subscriptions will cost much more than they currently do. Second, the broadcasters will be forced to charge for their internet content or be forced to sell commercial space during internet broadcasts. So in the long run everyone would loose, if this way of thinking actually takes off.

    Cost of Cable

For anyone who thinks that they are paying twice by watching commercials on cable networks, go take an business class. Cable networks charge much less for advertising space, besides when you pay for cable you are buying a better service which includes better picture quality and numerous other services. Oh yeah, and how many people get their internet service through a company that solely provides internet services? What do you think will happen to the cost of internet services if companies are relying strictly on revenue generated by the internet? I agree with Mark Cuban on his point, there has to be a point when the American public realizes that nothing is free, all those services that provide free content are distributed out over the internet which is provided to you by someone.

Apparently you never leave the Detroit city limits, Auburn Hills is surrounded by middle to low income areas. Even the upper middle income are supported by the auto industry, which if you haven't noticed isn't doing so well.
