  Not only Xerox but Kleenex and many others. If "Winter is coming" get used in many places and by many people, it will become generic and will lose its stupid trademark. I remember using this phrase years ago whenever it looked like Winter is coming!

  Let's do it take a picture of something cold, or draw one or whatever and say"Winter is coming" post wherever you like even on HBO's page if you can. Heck, they might go broke trying to take them down.
  Maybe we should all label the with something like "This is my picture (painting, drawing, art, etc) and has nothing to do with any thing else"

  I wonder what the Congress Persons (must be PC here), state legislators, executive office people (from POTUS and Govs on down) to SCOTUS and state courts on down, would say when they find their cell phones, computers etc. have been broken into because of a "BACKDOOR". In reality, this BACKDOOR should be called an OPENDOOR!
  
  Just look how fast many encryption schemes have been opened with or without an opendoor.

  This whole mass filing out of jurisdition is in the same category as a scam. Most people do not realize that they must respond to the court to assert lack of jurisdiction in their first response to the court; otherwise, it will be assumed that they have agreed to accept the jurisdiction of the court.
  
  Since I, as Mike and others, believe that the mass filings are fishing expeditions with little evidence to support them are done much more to scare people into paying up instead of going to court. Now if I go out and scare people to extort money from them I would probably be charged with blackmail and/or (God forbid!) a RICO violation and lose everything I have.
  
  Funny how the "LEGAL" way, using the court, makes blackmail okay.
  
  Cure: get the IP laws changed to allow for ONLY recovery of lost PROFIT (since no organization had any COSTS) and limit fines to a much smaller amount. Then the lawyers will have to find some other way to make money.
  
  This is, of course, for civil violations. I do not want to see some criminal organizations that rip music or movies to sell get away with it. Throw the book at them.

  Seems to me that if one is behind a router (that seems to be the case for most of these instances)the only available MAC address is that of the ROUTER and no other MAC address is available.

  V4 Rosetta Stone

  Personally, I think he is better off with V3. V3 lets you put the software on several computers (e,g, laptop and desk top) while v4 allows only one computer AND requires an internet connection. The v4 is far more restrictive than v3. I do not know if newer languages will work with v4. It seems like it's a RosettaStone DRM thing.
