  • Court Goes Censorship Crazy Against Dutch Pirate Party

    Drew ( profile ), 11 May, 2012 @ 11:26pm

They could just embed a text document in a image. Make it the leader of BREIN and load it up with a list of proxies, torrent sites, usenet, or anything else that would help :P

It would be great to have the BREIN leader knowing that every image of him on the net possibly has a rar inside it packed with YOU GOT F'D IN THE A stop! HAMMER TIME

I've been testing sites just out of curiosity to see how much data I can store inside one with no errors. Any site with image compression will not work but there are plenty out there. The best I've found so far is 35 megs but I'm sure I will find a better one soon. Big enough to pack TPBs whole site into.

Then you could be like WOW THAT BREIN DUDE IS COOL AS HELL he's hiding treasure in his images!!!

  • Playmobil Is Upset That Its Pirate Figures Have Been Used To Illustrate The Pirate Party

    Drew ( profile ), 20 Apr, 2012 @ 07:35pm

    Re: We should praising Playmobil

I'm actually inclined to agree with you on that. Free speech is pointless unless it applies to everyone. Do I think playmobil are being little bitches about it? Yeah, but they have to right to speak their mind just as I have the right to speak mine.

Their action of not taking retarded copyright actions I give them props for that. I'm glad they could see a copyright case would turn them into a laughing stock.

  • HBO Decides It Still Isn't Difficult Enough To Watch HBO Shows

    Drew ( profile ), 19 Apr, 2012 @ 06:02am

Wow that sucks lol. I decided to dig around a few FTA community forums. It seems that very little of them are having any issues with getting HBO free. The majority of people with the issues are actually paying customers.

Good job HBO keep blocking the people that still think your services are worth paying for! That's some pretty good promotion for people to get into piracy rofl! Piss off the customers so bad they see it's more easy to just buy a FTA receiver and enjoy satellite tv for free.

Same thing goes for direct tv would it have been so hard to actually check out your customer database to make sure they was not going to be blocked? If so at least contact them and give them a free upgrade considering they've been customers for a long time to have had such old boxes in the first place.

Fighting piracy DOES NOT mean only making your actions hurt subscribers. They should realize anyone that is getting it for free is still going to figure out how to keep it that way.

How about making your companies image so good anyone that was getting it for free would feel like shit for doing it?

  • Paramount Thinks That Louis CK Making $1 Million In 12 Days Means He's Not Monetizing

    Drew ( profile ), 17 Apr, 2012 @ 03:36am

Hey I'm sure Paramount would change their view if CK would just hand over 90% of all profits to them. That's all that their interested in anyways and CK threatened that. Maybe not a lot but enough to be noticed since a lot of people love CK.

I stopped buying, watching, playing, ect anything that was enabling morons to chip away at my freedom. I respect what CK is doing a lot. I will buy myself a copy for sure!

    CISPA is bad mkay.

No one likes the idea of a legal virtual peeping tom for Christ sakes! "With 7 billion eyes"

If they end up with their way systems will be installed to make spying easy as one click. Now about that!!!
How long would it be till some 12 year old hacker outsmarts them and steals massive amounts of data? Data that could be pointless or potentially cataclysmic.

Also what about the small number of people running it? They have just been given a backdoor to the world!
Their moronic ways are going to fuck us all over in the end if we don't stop it now.

No one person deserves the key to everything!! That kind of power can corrupt even the most noble of people.
As we are in a society ruled by technology it is of the utmost importance to make sure it stays divided among everyone and protect it at all cost. No single one of us deserves the whole thing and none of us EVER WILL EVER!

Mark my words they're going to make privacy "the best defense we have when it comes to protecting data" obsolete!

How many RIAA scum does it take to change a light bulb?

    301

1 to make up absurd loss charts.
1 to spend millions on pointless tactics to prevent future burnouts.
1 to suck someone in power off to get anti terrorist squad support.
1 to hire outside companies to flood the market with fake light bulbs.
1 to shut down all alternative bulb manufactures.
1 to be their public speaker to spread news about how bad burnouts are and how every single one cost them a good 60 million per pop.
1 to sacrifice a baby to Satan.
93 to sue for the burnout in the first place.
200 to push all the naysayers off a cliff.
1 to sue me for making a 300 joke without authorization.

    THIS IS DA FUCKTA?!??

  • A Perspective On The Complexities Of Copyright And Creativity From A Victim Of Infringement

    Drew ( profile ), 12 Apr, 2012 @ 05:14pm

There are plenty of songs that sound similar. There will be more styles in the future but as time goes on it's only natural that more and more songs will sound very similar. Most of the artist today are inspired by some band they loved growing up and they will sound similar. It does not mean they're a bunch of thieves.

You know anther thing that has the same effect is comedy. Look at Andrew Dice Clay he sounds very very similar to Rodney Dangerfield. Why? Well that's simple he was one of Clays heroes and gave him the break that let him become a legend. If it was not for Dangerfield "RIP" who knows what would have become of Clay. They're both two of my favorite comedians.

There are only so many ideas that can be done till stuff is bound to start resembling older models/concepts. The only thing copyright laws are going to do for that is cause a bunch of shit that could be improved to stay shitty.

I would like to think ideas are infinite but I know better considering the time our planet has left is finite.

  • Court Says That Copying Code Is Not Really Theft Under The Law

    Drew ( profile ), 12 Apr, 2012 @ 03:11pm

Theft = buying a ninja costume going Bruce Lee on the guards with some paralyzing neck chops then making some servers disappear with mystical ninja smoke bombs.

That's how I'd do it! I'm over here now. See how that works?

  • Homemade Hardcovers: Yet Again, Anti-Circumvention Interferes With Fair Use

    Drew ( profile ), 12 Apr, 2012 @ 03:56am

This is where you use some decent ocr "optical character recognition" software where you don't have to break any protections whatsoever.

E-books with perfect text it would have no issues at all. Setup a macro to do it all while you're fast asleep.
Wake up have some coffee 4-5 cups sit down at your pc and say PDF KISS MY ASS! I just copied you without breaking any laws of messing with your shitty ass encryption methods that a 5 year old could bypass.

Yeah that sounds pretty damn stupid to have to be in the clear. All that just to print a book for personal use?
    Da Fuck?

  • More Mistakes In The Megaupload Prosecution: Videotape Of The Mansion Raid Has Gone Missing

    Drew ( profile ), 11 Apr, 2012 @ 01:54am

First off such incompetence is completely unacceptable. There is no doubt whatsoever that any of them were qualified to do the job of disassembling it. Any average Joe can take apart almost anything they know absolutely nothing about. What's the problem with that you might ask... Well there's a pretty good chance they're going to fuck something up in the process. Not to mention what would happen if they tried to do the reassembly.

They seriously need to fire the every single one of the retards that were involved. I know a good deal about computers but let's just say Google hired me to setup a whole server database for them. It would be the equivalent to me knowing absolutely nothing and doing what the moronic police did.

I know my limitations and sure my man ego of pfft that looks easy kicks in time to time but I know better. If you don't know what the hell you're doing DON'T FUCKING DO IT!

Using their logic I guess it would be alright to send a preschooler to do brain surgery.
