  • While TSA Looks At You Naked, Child Finds Loaded Gun Magazine Left On Southwest Plane

    Chucklebutte ( profile ), 24 Nov, 2010 @ 08:09am

    Missing the point?

My teacher pointed out something in class that never occurred to me and my fellow classmates yesterday when the topic of TSA and body scans came up. What is stopping anyone from walking into an air port and blow it up? Why even bother dealing with security, walk right into a busy crowded air terminal on the holidays and BOOM! But same goes for anything really, bus train, hell you could get hit by a "drunk terrorist" in your own town. His point? That all this huff n snuff is pointless, shit happens. My teachers second rational thought, why not offer an airline at half price with no security checks? No nothing really just pay, get on plane fly to destination for half price. The whole class rose their hands in favor of this idea. As for myself, never flown and with all this hoopla most likely never will.

  • Juror Using iPhone To Look Up Definition Of 'Prudence' Leads To Mistrial

Re: Re: The hypocrisy of our justice system!

No they lost, that guy is gonna spend life in prison now.

They made a huge stink about this and court found the judge of doing no wrong doing and things just go back to normal in la la land, while this guy sits and rots in prison for a crime he may or may not have committed, it is really hard to be sure being that he didnt get a fair trial.

  • Big Brother In Your Garbage Cans

    Chucklebutte ( profile ), 08 Sep, 2010 @ 03:59am

    Sigh....

My trash, my choice! My town would drive by and take pics of my trash cans and send me scary letters threatening me. SOrry but you give me 2 trash cans, ima use 2 trash cans for trash... Not to mention that those damn cans are bum magnets, every trash night we would be armed with our hoses waiting, because those damn bums would just make the biggest messes and me, the home owner is responsible for clean up, not the city! Great, good for you and your bottom line, but what about my bottom line? So either I get a shake down from my local government, or continue to feed the homeless booze machine...

  • Why Are Gay Porn Producers So Quick To Get Involved In Shakedown Copyright Pre-Settlement Schemes?

    Chucklebutte ( profile ), 26 Aug, 2010 @ 07:28pm

    Women?

My wife enjoys watching the occasional gay porn, it would be as if I was watching some lesbian porn.

Women watch more porn than you think, they enjoy men, and sometimes enjoy watching 2 men.

To me its all the same, porn is porn, it has one real purpose, and that is to rub one out. Be it men, women, animals, or what ever is your thing, its still just porn...

Labeling gay porn as "just men on men" or just for "men" is just wrong, I am sure there is a hell of a lot of gay women that would be offended. Gay is not just men, it is both.

  • No, The Fifth Amendment Does Not Complicate Net Neutrality

    Chucklebutte ( profile ), 03 Aug, 2010 @ 10:24am

    This has been done before...

In the early 90's this crap company called AOL came out and they had their little AOL crapware that people used, and thought THAT was the internet. It seems that is what telco's want now, some bloated crapware that has the advertisements, stories, links, feeds, or whatever minimal crap they want to shovel down your throats for a very bloated fee. We saw what happened to AOL.

They only way for anything to change is for people to start becoming aware of things around them, and have a better understanding of the technology they are using. AOL is not the internet, there is no Yahoo or ATT browser, cable modem is not a modem nor does it use the phone, The monitor is not the whole pc, and the hard drive actually sits inside the tower, the tower its self is not called a hard drive....

The ignorance of our society will be the downfall of our open and free internet. I just get baffled when it comes to this, how could one country and 3-4 companies control the entire world communication system?

  • RIAA Defends Lawsuit Spending… But Reminds Everyone How It Helps Screw Over Musicians

    Chucklebutte ( profile ), 30 Jul, 2010 @ 09:27am

    My question is

who really are these RIAA people? And on what authority are they doing all these lawsuits? How does this group have its hands in the pot? Why do we even bother to acknowledge the RIAA? Just seems like a group of bullies with no sort of authority.

If it was me or my company I would just ignore these jokers, like the Google/Youtube fiasco, Google is so large they could have walked all over the RIAA and any other group with no power and crush them in the process. People need to start ruffling feathers instead of worrying about one point of one percent of some stocks!

Civil court is a joke, if that is all the RIAA can do is try and sue you, let them! Don't show up to the stupid "trial" let them keep wasting all their money and hopefully go belly up soon!

  • WSJ Opinion Highlights The Problems Of 'Permission Culture'

    Chucklebutte ( profile ), 12 Jul, 2010 @ 09:57am

    Who cares?

I am so fed up with all this BS. Just do whatever the hell it is you want, copy and reuse without permission. The most that will happen is you get sued? Thats civil court, no jail time, hell you do not even have to pay and it will disappear in 7 years from your credit. Stand up and don't take this shit!

More of us than them, why are we being bullied like this?
The more they stifle our minds, the more obedient we become.

  • MPAA And Its Priorities: Asks US Gov't To Stop Soldiers From Buying Bootleg DVDs

    Chucklebutte ( profile ), 18 May, 2010 @ 11:03am

    Actually

there is very little of this going on. There is no need for soldiers to buy anything bootlegged, the armed forces over in Iraq and Crapistan already have everything they want. My friends are over there one in marines other in army, both have access to massive multi terabyte servers jam crammed with everything from all genres of music to all movies and games, all pirated, all placed there by other soldiers, all access it.

So why are they being accused of buying bootleg anything? My friend in the marines said it best "The US Armed Forces is the biggest pirate I have ever seen".

  • 50 Cent Says The Movie Industry Will Get New Laws Passed That Will Help The Music Industry

    Chucklebutte ( profile ), 04 May, 2010 @ 01:06pm

    Oh Fiddy

If you are a fan of rap or hip hop, you will know that 50's last studio album was terrible, he past few albums have been awful. He is an average entertainer that got a big hyped up record deal. He should be paying me for the fact I downloaded his crap and that I waste my HD space storing his shit music. He is very lucky I enjoy building my rap/hip hop music collection, and for me to even consider him good enough for my collection should result in some kind of kick back to me. My music is housed on a 1TB drive and is about 1/4 full, best believe when the time comes to either buy a new HD or delete something for room, 50 and his crew of crap rappers and crap cd's will be the first to go!

  • Sports Journalist Blames Fat, Cheeto-Eating Bloggers For The Decline Of His Trade

    Chucklebutte ( profile ), 19 Apr, 2010 @ 08:00am

    Who cares?

Sports still matter? It's 3rd grade again? Some fat douchebag team owner from texas calls'em as he see's'em and some how that is news? When someone gets paid more money to catch a ball than one does doing brain surgey screams problem, These roid raging, testosterone pumping, very non hetero athletes need to stop being placed on a pedestal, they are just human beings, with very little brains and big muscles, that doesnt make the better than us, it actually moves athletes to the other end of the spectrum, the bad end. One of the biggest problems we face as a society is the emphasis on sports and not education. The more we dumb ourselves down, the more likely we are to be taken advantage of.
