I think to provoke the reform to impose penalties for bogus DMCA claims, one need to organise a coordinated campaign of such claims against web pages of congressmen. Imagine a day with DMCA takedown of web sites of ALL congressmen. The legislation will be amended next week!!!!
It could be that she said to her boyfriend/hysband that she's in N.Y. on business and went instead to L.A. with another guy....
Now it could be that publicity around her presumed stay in LA is causing problems with her husband.
This could explain the legal threats.
It could be another way around too: Somebody WANTED to cause her problems with her husband and so spread info (or lies) about her stay in L.A.
In this kind if situation people often behave irrationally...
I just wonder, if somebody at XXAAs relalize the the
$175M US govt want to retrieve from MegaUpload (and probably much more than that) could be in
their own (XXAAs) pocket if they were providing similar service.
During last 3-4 years i'm thinking about very similar scheme with following twist:
Each buyer should be offered the choice to simply download the music (for free) or to pay for a 'sponsor token'.
The buyer will distribute the music together with 'his sponsor token'.
Somebody who got music from the primary buyer can pay for
his own 'sponsor token'. When paying for that token the buyer can present the 'sponsor token' of the primary buyer and in that case the primary buyer will get some renumeration.
Folks you're really have a knack to vote in joyful presidents.
Clinton with his cigars, now Obama with his groping.
At least Clinton did it with the girl. Well maybe this groping stuff is some kind of pro gar rights stint .
I do not agree that nice people have good chances to reach power.
First of all people don't reach power by chance, one need to desire it very much.
So initially one need to think of himself as better than his entourage, as more deserving position of authority and power.
Second, the competition for power is as any other competition - if you cheat you have better chances to win (unless there is a strong control mechanism - and we don't have it for political struggle).
So if you only show 'niceness' you have better chances than if you are genuinely nice.
The honesty and integrity are handicaps in this competition because you you're honest you can arrive to conclusion that your fellow competitor's ideas and proposals are better than yours, so you have drop out form the competition.
Now if cheaters are better chances to win it is evident that between winners will be a lot of cheaters.
(Which leads to conclusion that a proportion of cheaters are much bigger in power elites than in regular population - which explain pretty well the sorry state of the world affaires)
And when they arrive to power the can stop pretending to be 'nice' and show their real nature.
