The UPS store owner told the deputy that a black male entered the UPS store and paid $90 to have the package shipped to Houma, Louisiana. According to the deputy’s police report, “[d]ue to the [cost of shipping the package] and suspicious behavior of the suspect,”
So apparently if a black man wants to overnight a package they should use FedEx.
(I'm assuming overnight is why the package was so expensive)
One major thing - almost every ordinary citizen has a video camera in their pocket. I don't doubt that these same issues with the police have been around for half a century, but now everyone can see it. Cops can't hide it anymore, no matter how hard they try. What happened in Dallas is a tragedy, but I understand why it happened. No matter how the FOP and union assholes try to spin it, cops have brought this on themselves.
I'd like to know the FACTS about how this actually works. Most of what I see here is conjecture. Can they actually take money from your bank account or credit cards, or does it only apply to prepaid cards?
