Register for your Techdirt Account.

You’re just one short step away from having your very own Techdirt account!

Signing up for a Techdirt account isn't required, but it does have some advantages (with more on the way). Right now, beyond keeping your info so you don't have to re-enter it, a Techdirt account provides you a public profile on the site, where you can put up a bio about yourself, see all the comments you've made and stories we've published that were submitted by you. You'll also be able to browse the profiles of others. If you've been leaving comments with an email address, you'll be able to go back and "claim" past comments, as well. We plan to continue rolling out many more useful features for registered users, though you'll always be able to comment without registering.

To create a new account, please fill out the form below, and we’ll take good care of you. Thanks for being a part of the Techdirt community!
