    I got an E-Mail from my dad yesterday commenting about how he got a Dukes of Hazard RC car because Warner Brothers discontinued all Dukes of Hazard merchandise.

    It's official. On the Steam store page it says:

    Sales of Batman: Arkham Knight have been temporarily suspended while Warner Brothers works to address performance issues.

    And won't be available again until Fall.

    I may have to test this. Supposedly, I have a different plan than their unlimited. The only problem is it doesn't say anything about me getting messages letting me know and only getting a lower priority, so I may never know.

    Unlimited data is the only reason my sister has Sprint. Outside of that, she is not pleased. I'd bet that she's going to switch back to Verizon soon.

    T-Mobile does have unlimited data. Not that "Unlimited" plan that they advertise that gets throttled after 7G, they have a truly unlimited data plan (I think it's actually called "Truly Unlimited"). They don't advertise it, you can't buy it online, and you have to spend lots of time explaining exactly what it is you want, but you can get truly unlimited from T-Mobile. It also costs $80-$90 a month.

    Probably is referencing this line:

    "Do they really believe that the adult internet, including porn sites, pirate sites, video sites, etc, is going to be turned off for 16 hours a day?"

    But that line isn't condoning piracy, it's just stating a simple fact that piracy exists (and this law will probably have a side effect of pushing more people to it).

    That was my first thought as well. Is there anyone who actually saw it on Facebook to confirm that it was in fact deleted.

    Is Instagram owned by Facebook? If the post is missing from both and they're not controlled by the same people, I'm more inclined to believe that something else happened.

    Somebody signed up with G-mail and actually got an address with a period in it? G-Mail does have protections against that (unlike, it seems, Comcast). They expressly ignore periods in addresses, even says so when trying to sign up.

    Just as a test I tried to sign up for my account with a period in it and it said someone already had that account. I know no one else has that account as I use that address myself. The period in a G-mail address is a long known trick to help sort e-mails.

    I'm not saying that the problem is impossible, I know far too much about technology to think that any failure is impossible. I am saying that it sucks you have this problem. Google is notoriously hard to get any support from when there is a problem (let alone one that most people would think is impossible).

    2 million to replace 19 buildings worth of equipment and a system to communicate and run them? Sounds about right to me. And you would have to add another digit to your estimate to build a new school.

    I agree with you on the failure thing though. Any new system has it's problems that need to be ironed out. I'd bet the Amiga system had it's problems too until they all got fixed.

    Yes they did, it was called a Widget. There's a reason why they don't make hard drives now. They also made their own floppy drives (called Twiggy), they didn't make those for long ether.

    I have a few theories, but I don't want to say them. Someone might take those theories and use them to write this off as some anomaly instead of another example of why DMCA takedowns are a bad thing.

    TotalBiscuit did some digging (Youtube) into this. Most developers seem to be taking a "wait and see" approach, but are optimistic. Most of the ones that TB pointed out that mentioned how many refunds were issued said that a high rate would be expected initially. Especially since Valve seems to be giving refunds for games purchased months ago. People who would have refunded the games would have spread out over the months if refunds were possible.

    The chart points out that cell phones produce no ionizing radiation and do not cause cancer. It's directly under the blue cart, you know, the one that represents a microscopic fraction of a percent of a potentially fatal dose of radiation.

    As for electromagnetic fields, they also do nothing to the human body. Not all that long ago this same exact debate was being had thanks to people thinking they had healing abilities. The same arguments were had, electromagnetic fields have no affect on the human body. The Placebo Effect has more affect on the body.

    So... Facebook doesn't even conform to the rules of Facebook's internet.

    The rules specifically state: "If websites are found to contain any of the above post-implementation, we will block them until we can confirm that the content has been removed."

    Facebook does not work with scripts disabled.

    I think the Iron Man 3 poster was just suppose to be an example of them "stealing" the look from Radix. It wasn't an example of the 3 point landing.

    And you're right, that's suppose to be Iron Man getting up to kick ass.
