  yes this happens locally in Canada.
  
  It depends on the staff. Some will match and others won't. I have also been refused a price match because the price was below cost and the sales clerk said they didn't have to match it.

  The site has lots of original content. Some sites will clone the content to get ad revenue.
  
  Other will clone the content in order show better on search and then allow links to their own site.

  A business decision

  this has nothing to do with electronic or hard copy. It is a business decision about throwing out a supplier who will not supply you with the same goods as other retailers.

  one trend has been to hijack adwords account of existing advertisers and then put on the phara ads.
  
  I also wonder how some of the ads were approved. A simple filter would have stopped about half of them.

  Yes, ads are important - they pay the bills. But the flashy ones that start up just because your mouse goes over them are the worst.

  the law may be interpreted widely, but the union used a auto dialing service to overload the computer system.
  
  The union is able to protest but at some point, sending way too email and way too many phone calls become harassment. Freedom of speech doesn't allow you to yell fire in a theater.

  as long as he doesn't sell in the US, they can't touch him. I have a hard time seeing ICE seizing the domain if he doesn't sell in the US. In fact, Lucas could do it on his own with the California ruling.

  never, never trust or depend on any other company with your data. Backup everything. And for something this big, he should have had his own web to store data.
