I completely agree. For her to get such a high paying job, my question is this. When did she apply? How long has she considered this completely life changing move? My answer is this. She is corrupt. she knew a favorable vote would get her that job. They need to dig into each and every email and phone call and see just when she was bought off. The entire merger should be dismantled in the face of this corruption.
When you add in the story about your iphone detailing each and every place you have visited, you really have problems. My main concern is the statement that this device bypasses passwords. That is hacking plain and simple. Even with a warrant, you have to specify if you will be bypassing passwords without the users consent. Mabe the Michigan State Police should be brought up on charges.
What if the police GPS my vehicle, then i move it into my garage. They are now recording my movements inside my private property. That is a clear violation of my rights. Even if i have it parked in my private driveway, they are still invading my rights. If i go to a friends and park in my friends driveway, they are invading rights.
I know the police have a job to do, but removing the rights of law abiding citizens should not be on the list of things they (the government) should take away.
If the police suspect someone of committing illegal acts, get a warrant. It is that easy. If the suspicion is not up to warrant level, then you ARE invading the rights of the individual.
The museum is clearly trying to use the legal system to threaten and harass Mr. Hawk. The mob used any tactic they deemed necessary to accomplish their goals. We are seeing more and more of this from corporations and bigger companies. They decided to use the threat of law (even when they know the people they are threatening does not have the resources to counter sue) to get their way. The unfortunate part is that they are winning. I wish there were more great defense lawyers that would take on companies like this pro bono and counter sue the hell out of them.
A man is on medication for split personalities. He does something stupid and is arrested. While in short term lock up he freaks out and kills someone. Since the police had immediate access to his medical records, he (or the victims family) sues because the police should have known better.
Isn't it amusing that these corporations convently forget how many laws they break each and every day. The credit card companies have done everything they can to skirt or walk all over any law they do not like.
This ruling just proves that it is time to impeach most of the justices. It is time to get a younger group in that really does understand the law.
We also need to look into all the extra money these justices are getting from all the lobbyists.
I wish we had a real atty general with some courage to take on big money.
If Google decides to stop linking to ANY music or movie studio, the industry would have a massive outcry. BUT they have copyrighted info on their sites, and most of us don't trust them. Teach them a lesson Google!!!
Being military, you are SERVING our great country and should be put first in line or be able to bypass it. That is one of the many ways we should be thanking our military. Congress on the other hand, no. Let them get a rifle and serve some time in Iraq. Then they can bypass security.
I trust our men and women in uniform, not congress.
Congress can walk around security. They also can show up minutes before a flight and get on the plane on time. Why should they care for all the security measures when they can bypass them.
Health care for Congress is paid by the Govt and continues after they leave office. Why should they care about health care, they and their families always get it.
When Congress is voted out of office, they still receive pay. If you get fired, the company that fired you will not give you your full paycheck forever. Why should Congress worry about unemployment benefits, they will never be forced to use them.
Mabe Congress is the real reason why we are in this situation. Start forcing them to comply to the same rules and laws we all are forced to follow.
