Two Tales of CEOs

from the check-the-extremes dept

I found it fairly amusing that I came across the following two articles one after the other. The first one is about interim CEO’s and even companies who will supply startups with “gray hairs” who will stop by a few times a week to check on the kiddies. This is promoted as a “good thing” for startups. The second article is about the succession problem Silicon Valley firms are facing, and how bad most CEOs seem to be at coming into companies and keeping them strong. Obviously, these two articles focus on different types of companies, but I still find the contrast to be amusing.
