Techdirt Podcast Episode 153: An Interview With Rep. Zoe Lofgren
from the voice-of-reason dept
When it comes to many of the legislative issues of interest to us here at Techdirt, we’ve always been able to count on at least one voice of reason amidst the congressional chaos: Representative Zoe Lofgren from California. In addition to playing a critical role in the fight against SOPA, she continues to be a voice of reason against bad copyright policy, expansive government surveillance, and the broken CFAA, among many other things. This week, she joins Mike on the podcast for a wide-ranging discussion about these topics and more.

"When it comes to many of the legislative issues of interest to us here at Techdirt" -- ONLY "many" and particular to here, eh?
Meaning that on the majority, she’s the usual Establishment hack. That’s known as "damning with faint praise". — And deftly done! Unless was unwitting because you’re a mediocre re-writer.
Will you please publish the number of audio downloads each week? Inquiring minds want to know.
Or is that also too much "transparency"?
Re: Re:
SOPA lost. Sucks to be you, don’t it?

The play stats are public on Soundcloud, smart guy. Not that you care – I know you’re just looking for a “gotcha”. And you’ve failed yet again.
It’s always refreshing to have representatives who aren’t completely bought out.

Hats off. Lofgren actually knows what the hell is going on. Nice to hear her voice.
Good job, TD.
