DailyDirt: Give Me Liberty... Or Give Me Robot Armies?

from the urls-we-dig-up dept

The robot apocalypse, depending on whom you believe, is steadily approaching. Robots are already fighting in battles all over the world, so maybe it's not such a crazy idea that they'd stop taking our direct orders someday. Here are some interesting examples of fighting machines that could be looking for John Connor in the near future (or alternate past). By the way, StumbleUpon can recommend some good Techdirt articles, too.

No robots though, but there are Zombies in one of the videos :)

    I’m Not So Sure ...

As for “need more input” vs “fuck you, asshole” ... I like my world-conquering slave mechanoid army to have a bit of spunk. :)

    The one I don’t want is “I’m sorry Dave, I’m afraid I can’t do that” ...

Johnny5 ditched his laser-rifle to chase butterflies, though... it was his less enlightened robot brothers who were angry killing machines.

And Hal was a pretty good singer:

    Liberty or robot armies....

Damnit this is a hard one.
How about a robot army to play with now and liberty later? (assuming I can be the general of course)
