DailyDirt: Colorful Burgers Because Why Not?

from the urls-we-dig-up dept

Summer is here, and maybe you've already fired up the grill and cooked some burgers in the backyard. But why settle for plain old regular burgers when you could cook your own kinda disgusting-looking ones that are novelties in Asia? (You might need a little squid ink and bamboo charcoal.) Or you could visit Japan and just buy a strangely colored burger from Burger King or McDonald's. Too bad Heinz doesn't make goofy-colored ketchup anymore. After you've finished checking out those links, take a look at our Daily Deals for cool gadgets and other awesome stuff.

Thank you for reading this Techdirt post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

Techdirt is one of the few remaining truly independent media outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis.

While other websites have resorted to paywalls, registration requirements, and increasingly annoying/intrusive advertising, we have always kept Techdirt open and available to anyone. But in order to continue doing so, we need your support. We offer a variety of ways for our readers to support us, from direct donations to special subscriptions and cool merchandise — and every little bit helps. Thank you.

The Pirate Mike Spam-bot keeps jamming Techdirt posts into SuprBay! Apparently at random.

This one: Sell Features, Not Songs -- HA! AS IF PIRATES EVER BUY ANYTHING!

Last four posts currently have less than 140 page views TOTAL, not each! -- Keep posting on SuprBay, Pirate Mike! I get more than hoots from it than you get page views!

At risk of running up those massive numbers, I read the TWO replies. The first is terse but certainly positive.

The second from "connor17" is more fun from my view:
    >>> [Grasmeyer] "I believe these are natural characteristics of Music, that got temporarily pushed into the background in the age of Mass Media"
    Hipster bullshit.

    >>> [Grasmeyer] "One can create dynamics of social competition within a fanbase"
That's one of the most retarded things I've heard lately.

Sheesh. And you fanboys think I'M rude.

You missed a perfectly good opportunity to mention Pretty Patties from SpongeBob!
