Rival 802.11n Standards Groups To Merge

In a stark contrast to the ongoing UWB standards battle or even the fight over standards that’s killing puppies, the two rival factions in the 802.11n standards process have said they’d merge and submit a unified proposal to the IEEE. The move isn’t that surprising, as both proposals used similar underlying technology, but illustrates there’s a right way and wrong way to handle these things.
