Online Auction Loser Threatens Winner With A Gun

Not quite sure what the connection is between guns and online auctions these days, but yesterday we had the story of someone who bought an MP3 player on eBay and was sent a gun instead. Today comes the news of someone who lost an online auction for a set of 180 used band costumes (winning bid: $360) and was so upset that he broke into the winner’s house and threatened his wife with a handgun. It’s unclear how he knew where this guy lived – or exactly why he wanted 180 used band costumes so badly. Either way, it appears that some people take these online auctions things a bit too seriously.
