Sales Of Dog Language Interpreter Through The Woof
from the ah.--the-Japanese dept
Back in May we posted a story about a company that was working on a "bowlingual" product to translate a dog's bark into what they really mean. You might wonder who, in their right mind, would want such a thing? Apparently, though, there are quite a lot of people in Tokyo hoping for a technological leg up in understanding just what their dogs are saying. Retailers are saying that demand is very high, and they can't keep them in stock. The makers of the device say they may offer ones for other animals as well. Of course, we're still waiting for the device that will help humans understand one another, but perhaps that's hoping for too much.
