IKEA is taking an interesting approach to spreading the word about it’s new Bay area store. If you send out 10 email postcards to your friends telling them about the new store, you get up to $75 a purchase during the opening week. I actually think this will work quite well as the Bay area is the exact demographic that IKEA is aimed at to begin with.
