Not a bad app, linux support could be better
-I can get the older version of the app 2.8 working on my Mint desktop, but the new version 4.1 will not load at all. So I get constant bugging popups telling me how great it is to update, but the update does not work.
Re: Not a bad app, linux support could be better
Why do you need a special app to connect to a VPN under Linux? VPN support is a standard part of the network stack.
Hmmm, VPN Unlimited… Let’s check thatoneprivacysite.net, the site which the EFF recommends.
They’re located in a five eyes country.. that’s bad
They log timestamps… this is unacceptable.
They log bandwidth… not cool, Brosephina.
They log IP addresses… Do these chunderchewers even grok the point of a VPN?!
They block some P2P ports… Ahahahaha, how much more useless can a VPN get?
Check for yourselves, https://thatoneprivacysite.net/vpn-comparison-chart/

Mike, I’m sad you allow this ad on your site. I know curating ads takes time and effort, but allowing this one is doing a disservice to readers that don’t know enough to assess a VPN for themselves.
Roll-Your-Own
