DailyDirt: Don't Just Talk About The Weather…

from the urls-we-dig-up dept

As the saying goes, nobody seems to do anything about changing the weather. Well, there actually are some people trying to control the weather. (And global climate change could be an inadvertent way that people are changing the weather, too.) So there are a lot of big problems that look unsolvable, but maybe if enough people work on them, we’ll find solutions. Here are just some quick examples.

By the way, StumbleUpon can also recommend some good Techdirt articles, too.

Re: Controlling Climate Change??

Why do I now have the image of Mr. Burns from the Simpsons building his giant solar shield to drive up his profits?

Seriously, the way the weather seems to be all screwed up lately, I get the feeling that “someone” (insert your favorite conspirator here) has been trying to without fully understanding the consequences…

Atmospheric Phenomenon

Thank you for giving me an opportunity to share with you all on techdirt! I am going to submit it as a story if they will allow.
I scanned a newspaper article on October 3, 2008 because of a very disturbing dream I had previous to seeing it. In my dream, I witnessed very strange clouds that formed over Jerusalem.
I write about the details of this dream in my book, The Prostitute: Who Came in From the Cold, as if it were the main character that had seen it. The book is a ?fictional novel?, but not all the content is fictional; much of it is quite ‘techy’ and the dream was real.

Interesting

It is interesting, that in the 1970’s, my father was a member/director of the National Weather Modification Board, now a division of NOAA. He was an astro-geophysicist, Guggenheim award recipient, and director of the NSF (National Science Foundation). I just wish he could be around here now to see what foolishness is going on! If nothing else, he had a finely honed sense of BS propagation… 🙂

Re: Interesting/ OK I'll Bite

I might not understand your comment, but.. can you elaborate on what BS propogation you refer to if you can? Was it about the millions of tons of aluminum, barium, and strontium, being sprayed daily around the planet, (basically radioactive rat poison being dumped on our heads)? Was it about the superheating of the ionosphere with ELF signals from HAARP arrays around the planet? Was it about the capabilities of any two bit government with a few million dollars to create catastrophic floods using equipment that they should be castrated for using on the masses in the first place? Was it for the deep moans of mother earth someone is propagating with the same low frequencies? Was it about the shredding of the magnetosphere to purposely take down the earth’s shield from the sun’s increasing storm activity? Or was it about the ability of any yahoo controlling these low frequency arrays to create earthquakes, guide hurricanes’ pathes, poison the soils’ abilities to grow organic vegatation and launch completely anonymous wars against the people on this planet?
