Shocker: That Internet Thing? It's Kinda Fun

from the people-like-it!--they-really-like-it! dept

The folks at the Pew Internet and American Life Project certainly come out with plenty of studies, some more questionable than others. It kind of makes you wonder how they come up with some of the topics they study. For example, the latest study out of the group points out that 30% of internet users go online for “fun” during the day. Basically, the study found, that more people do random stuff online these days, instead of more task oriented things like search and email. Guess it beats playing solitaire.
