Shocker: That Internet Thing? It's Kinda Fun
from the people-like-it!--they-really-like-it! dept
The folks at the Pew Internet and American Life Project certainly come out with plenty of studies, some more questionable than others. It kind of makes you wonder how they come up with some of the topics they study. For example, the latest study out of the group points out that 30% of internet users go online for “fun” during the day. Basically, the study found, that more people do random stuff online these days, instead of more task oriented things like search and email. Guess it beats playing solitaire.

If I am correct in assuming the “Shocker” in the title is intended to be sarcastic, meaning that the study is just telling us what’s blatantly obvious, then why is this worth posting here???
Re: No Subject Given
The question is, why you found it necessary add an equally worthless post.

I guess you should be in an excellent position to answer that question for yourself. In fact I guess I should be too – boredom, oh and being an arsewit.
