Navini Gets Into Another Big Test… But It's Still Not WiMax

Navini, whose equipment is currently being used in the US by BellSouth to try out mobile wireless broadband has done a deal with BT in the UK to have their equipment used in mobile broadband trials there. However, either they or the Reuters reporter is calling it “mobile WiMax,” which would probably be a surprise to many — considering that mobile WiMax still doesn’t exist yet. Navini, obviously, is involved in the mobile WiMax process, but calling their existing equipment mobile WiMax is quite misleading.
