Motorola Denying Story About Carriers Stopping iTunes Phone

With the ongoing delays concerning the Motorola iTunes phone, many reported that the carriers were stopping the phone because they didn’t like the idea of users going around their walled garden music systems. However, Motorola is trying to quiet that story by, instead, blaming Apple, saying that Apple doesn’t launch products until they’re ready for market, and so they didn’t want the iTunes phone officially announced until it was really ready. Update: Bonus points to John Paczkowski for referring to this trait of Steve Jobs as premature elaboration.
