More People Catching On To Why PDAs And Smartphones Are The Same
We’ve been arguing this for a very long time, but it looks like others are beginning to figure it out as well: smartphones won’t “kill” PDAs because a smartphone is just a PDA with a wireless connection. Of course, as a story, that’s not much to write about and the press always needs a “this vs that” story to make it worth writing. I go back to my original statement on the matter: no one ever said that the computer market was “dying” when we added modems or NICs to computers. Why do they think that PDAs are dying when we add connectivity to them as well?
