In Case You Didn't Know, AT&T Wireless Is For Sale
For those of you who don’t actually read any news about the wireless, telecom or tech industries (in other words, people who wouldn’t be reading this anyway), AT&T Wireless has now admitted what everyone knew already: companies have made some offers to buy them. Of course, they didn’t give much more out in the way of details. They say that no deal is definitely going to get done, but they are exploring them, which is exactly what you would expect them to do. It’s likely, of course, that a deal will get done at some point, but it looks like AT&T Wireless plans to take their time in making a decision. In other words, there’s no more news than there was yesterday, but it certainly seems like a big story.
