TD-SCDMA Phones To Be Made

While it’s still unclear if China will ever actually use the TD-SCDMA 3G network they’ve been talking about for ages, if they do decide to go forward they’ll at least have phones. The first major deal has been inked to allow for the production of TD-SCDMA phones. Of course, you would think (wouldn’t you?) that whoever agreed to build the phones would have some sort of assurance that a TD-SCDMA network would be serviceable at some point.
