Is That Your Finger In Your Ear Or Are You Just Talking To Someone?
from the sounds-familiar dept
Remember in the days when mobile phone microphone/ear-pieces were relatively new? You would see someone walking down the street and think they were crazy – until you realized they were talking on their phone. Now, we may have a repeat of that phenomenon – but with people sticking their fingers in their ears. I know I’ve seen this one before, so I’m not sure why it’s popping up again now, but a Japanese company is coming out with a watch phone that requires you to stick your finger in your ear to hear what’s going on. Apparently, NTT DoCoMo is pushing forward with the idea, which might make more sense in a Japanese society where people are more used to bowing than shaking hands…

they're almost there
I’m still waiting for the shoe phone. Or maybe the pen phone — to dial you have to say “open channel D”.

Shoe Phone! What a “Smart” idea 😉

Shoe phone + piezoelectric boots = unlimited call time
Old!
There was a bone conduction phone like this out a couple of years ago. Not new.
