The latest is the newest version of WirelessUSB coming from the folks at Cypress Semiconductor. They say it’s simpler and cheaper, and thus has a better chance of becoming the de facto standard than a Bluetooth or a ZigBee. The more the merrier. Sooner or later people will figure out what they want to do with wireless technologies, figure out which standards actually do the job, and will go with it.
