PSP To Have Wireless Connection
The fact that this is even news is surprising to me. However, a report has come out quoting someone from Sony mentioning that their new handheld gaming device, the PSP, will include some sort of wireless connection. These days, they would be crazy not to have a wireless connection on the device. It’s unclear what kind of wireless connection, though. The article guesses WiFi or Bluetooth, but then wonders if they won’t go all out and add a cellular system, making the device even more competitive with Nokia’s N-Gage. It also sounds like the purpose of the PSP is expanding beyond just a gaming device into a “wireless hub” of sorts, that you’ll be able to attach other hardware to as well. Should be interesting.
