Diller Changing Name Of USA Interactive To InterActiveCorp

from the the-dot-com-days-are-here-again dept

A couple weeks ago we had a story about Barry Diller’s plans for his USA Interactive dot com conglomerate. One of the things the article mentioned was that Diller was thinking of changing the company’s name. Well, now he’s done so, and has chosen the very 1999-like InterActiveCorp. Yes, that’s one single word with special capitalization rules in the middle. Note the oh-so-clever move to change Interactive into InterActive, so they can get the play on words. This seems so very “boom-like” in style. All it’s really missing is the .com a the end of the official name.
