Nokia's Losing Ground On CDMA

Recently, handset leader Nokia has been much more proactive in pushing CDMA phones, but so far, it appears not to be working. A new report says that Nokia is losing marketshare in CDMA phones, dropping from 11.3% down to only 7.6% in the first quarter of this year. Of course, they still hold 43% of the (much larger) world GSM phone market, so they’re not hurting just yet. Also, their new focus on CDMA phones really has just gotten started, so it’s difficult to say whether it’s really had any impact yet.
